The Loft
We don't have a formal showroom stateside but we do welcome house guests from time to time at Robert's loft in New York. Tucked away in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood, this sprawling apartment, formerly home to Colin King, is a place where friends old and new can clock some downtime with our rugs in person.
Far from a showroom or a shop, Robert's loft is a living case study of our craft in situ.
With a select edit of designs on site, the space serves as a meeting point where likeminds can pop by to talk shop over shared espresso. Often traveling between New York, Marrakech and Barcelona, Robert may not always be in, but you'll always be taken care of.
The Studio
Marrakech, Morocco
Our studio is a place where tradition bends but never breaks. The first facility of its kind in Morocco, this humming operation is a multi-hyphenate hybrid of craft combining ancient techniques with forward-leaning values. From the weaving floor, design hub and washing facility to the showroom, shipping floor, and Milanese-inspired bar, there's a whole world to experience.
As Sam Cochran put it in a story for Architectural Digest, our approach at Beni streamlines Moroccan rug-making realities, bringing stability, community, and economic opportunity to what has historically been a solitary and uncertain pursuit. To a T, this is what our founders, Robert Wright and Tiberio Lavo-Navia intended when they brought Beni into existence back in 2018.

Our Team
Evolving Craft
Composed of 85 weavers, our growing in-house weaving team works from two thoughtfully designed ateliers just outside of Marrakech. Less experienced weavers work alongside master weavers, honing their craft while ensuring that each rug is woven by a weaver who has reached the pinnacle of her craft.
