Rows of burnt apricot stack within thick, imperfect brown stripes in this rug’s simple and satisfying flatwoven motif. It reminds us of those dark chocolate oranges that crack open into slices.

Lead Time Zahara

Each and every Beni rug is woven entirely by hand and then washed and dried in the mountain air. Current estimated Zahara lead times are:

  • 9' x 12' and smaller: 14-18 weeks
  • Larger than 9' x 12’: 18 - 22 weeks

Since your rug is hand-crafted, there will be natural, beautiful variations in pattern and color. These are sure signs of an authentic rug made just for you. Final sizes, pile heights, and design can vary by up to 5% from what is ordered.

The Fine Print

One of One

Every rug is made by hand from 100% natural wool, which means there will be beautiful variations in pattern and color authored by Mother Nature herself. These are sure signs of an authentic Moroccan rug made for and by idiosyncratic people. Final sizes can vary by up to 5% from the size ordered.

Travel Paths

Zahara rugs are flat, roughly 0.4" thick. Easy and approachable for high-traffic areas, this construction offers a light feel underfoot and pairs well with warm weather.

Order Swatches

Your order is made entirely by hand from 100% natural wool, which means there will be natural (and beautiful) variations in pattern and color. Wool shrinks! While we do our best, final sizes can vary by 5%

;

the proof is in the process

Fast gets the attention, but slow has all the power

Though there are many steps in the making of every rug, our washing method is where innovation braids into the traditional craft most technically. Once woven, each finished design goes through our proprietary washing process before moving to hand-hewn wooden racks in our courtyard to dry. This step results in soft and resilient rugs meant to last lifetimes.

These rugs are so soft, you can practically count them as guest beds.
